I like this, it resonates with me today. And god did it take me a long-ass time to have any clue how to articulate my wants or needs. I’m still working on it and suspect I always will be to some extent. I think this is a struggle for women and men. But I do think it’s a particularly female struggle because often men are taught at an early age to articulate their desires in a way women are not. It takes a lot of work to undo all those years of learning to stuff your desires. Let me tell you.
